LakwatCHA Galore

Kasama: Edwin Reyes,Mervin Gonzales, PJ Rieta
Budget- not so mahirap not so mayaman
Trip: Mag beach bum, lumamon, magplanking at mag jumpshot!
Saya level: (10 the highest 1 lowest)  pwede na ang 7
Badtrip level-  Mga 9!

Oo delayed yung flight namen for three hours! buti nlang may free meal from Jollibee, chickenjoy na walang gravy.

TOUCHDOWN CEBU!

The famous LarSian

Known for their ihaw ihaw. Here one will find varieties of charcoal grilled meats, poultry and lots of chicken and pig innards (lamang loob)

The crowd is wild and smoky. The whole place is jam packed with  stalls with almost the same kind of "iihawin" so it's kinda hard to decide where to sit. The stall owners and workers acts like they were the nearest "sabungan"

Finaly, you get to choose your order "turo turo" style. The best part is, you get to eat by hand. So we were given a transparent plastic bag, like the one my mom used to ulam and kanin in absence of the sosyal lock and lock. You have to wear that like a gloves. Since this is not my first time at this place I kinda know how it works.

The famous "puso" (heart) this is rice steamed in a banana leaf. Each cost 2 pesos.

We rented a pension house that evening and planned to leave the Queen City 5:00am the following day for  Bantayan Island. We rented a cab for a 2,500P going to the island. It's three hour ride somehow like from Manila  to Batangas.

We reached Hagnaya Port  around ten in the morning and board  "RORO" to Bantayan.

It was a scorching hot morning.. all sweat, tired, hungry and  smells salty lol

We received an insider information that the best beach at Bantayan is known as "Sugar Beach". Compared to the pricey "Ogtong Cave" and "Sta. Fe" Beach Resort, which is just beside the town's port (privacy issues)  Sugar beach has the longest shoreline and whitest sand as compared to the rest.

It did not disappoint!

The area is covered with palm trees, where signage says " Beware of Falling Palm and Coconut Tree"
I must say, one should be afraid. We experienced it first hand! scary. Good thing there are no casualties.

It was like Summer! I'm sporting an 80% Banana Boat  sunblock. While Manila was having a bad on/off weather. Cebu shines like you are in the Bahamas! I like!

On our way back, I'd like to share with you few unfortunate events that occurred to us

1. Pj lost his Cebu Pac itinerary
2. He lost his Ipod too.. left it with the cabbie
3. The cab we hired to fetch us from the port to airport  didn't show up, so we ended up renting a private car which cost us triple the price.
4. The private car got broken, we had to pull over four times to refill water for the car's engine
5. We travel three hours without airconditioner
6.And lastly we missed our flight and have it re-booked which cost us thrice the price of the fare
7. I got a bad temper
8. So I nag my way to the airport and it's employees
8. My friends got a bad temper too
9. We waited 3 hours for the flight back home
10. I still got my temper from Cebu to Manila

Now tell me.. GOOD TRIP or BADTRIP?

Here are the highlights

1. We get to Snorkel
2. The food is cheap and yum-e
3. The  sea is water amazing
5. Friendly locals
6. Cheaper accommodation
7.The snorkeling site did not diappoint
8. We all get to know each other's temper METER! (toinkz)
9. Ed and I ( as usual) bond like a glue
10. We get to go home safe but a little broke. END OF STORY.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Say bye bye TMEX

Just so you know, that the Tamed Monster Exhibit will no longer exist in this blog! Get real! I'm not saint, but not all the time a sinner. Just a normal Juana going through a rough phase in life.

Wish me luck..

Can't wait to hit the beach..let me breath

Ed, and I were so kati of going to the beach, I need to include my college friends from PIYU who'm I spent my Sagada valentines date.

Daming plano, walang natutuloy... tsk..

Due to excessive need for traveling and unwinding, I decided to join a couple and run away from here.. fast!

We need to finalize our leaves-check.
Budget- check.. this is not  a problem with  ED
Fare- EX! will go later at Florida and reserve three seats
Accommodation- EX, until we finalize the fare and schedule
Sino-sino? Just the three of us, Ed, Merv and I.. This doesn't matter, we three have same wave length (got this from someone)
Where to go?  the original plan is Bohol, all is settled until we found out the airfare would cost us 6,500k one way. NO WAY! edi sana nag Singapore nlang ako. Then Ed, so willingly showing me the tour packages, literally bringing his lappy at my station as I was so busy drooling over some quality issues we are facing right now.

Cha said - "so saan na?" while holding my phone ( the person on the other line, doesn't like the idea of multitasking) so I moughted my question instead to Ed instead.

Ed: Bantayan, Palawan, Davao? kahet saan! (with a look on his face, so determined to get the hell out of Manila)

Cha-( moughting her words again) Tangna kahet saan GOW ako!

at last we agreed to go to Pagudpod, Ilocos Norte, road tripping and advance bday celebration.

Just sharing Tarsier can smile pala hehe so cute

Quoting Hill Martinez.

Maganda man o panget ang kinalabasan ng isang disisyon, sa bandang huli it's the decision maker who would always come out responsible (wheeew)

kabwanan

Anu nga ba ang nagaganap kapag bilog ang buwan?

  6. May kinakasal na diwata? hala saan nanggaling yun?
Sa bandang kalayuan

 Pasmado

Nasakto mu!

where do broken hearts go?

On our way to Tere's abode, a familiar song played.. We were at the cab. "Where do broken hearts go" Whitney Houston. I didn't noticed it cuz my mind is floating and my back is numbing with pain after 5 hrs of tattoo session.
, Tere answered the question via FB post; Where do broken hearts go?
"they go to a tattoo parlor" quote-unquote from TereB.

Printscreen from FB ( this is how I document)

13 hrs earlier we're at Marikina getting my first tat
14 hrs back we were at LRT2 bound to Katipunan, eating siomai cuz we don't change to get tickets
15 hrs prior we're at SM Sanlazaro..
20 hrs back I was texting Tere to accompany me going to Marikina and sharing my design over FB
23 hrs backwards, I was googling what design suits me
25 hrs in the past I decided to get a tattoo and felt that it's about time to get one

That's how fast I make decisions, some I regret, some I don't, some I'm happy, some some some

Dandre- Tattoo artist, father, husband and reggae lover-- by his looks

Here the thing, he's my brothers' artist so as my ex and my brother's friend

I texted my brother asking for his number, he never wanted to give details about Dan for he knows I always wanted to get my tattoo done by him. Happily  he did.. I called Dan and ask if he's at Galera, by the way, that's where he hangs out during summer, henna tattoo (for the weak) and a real tat for the real man.

You know what they say: REAL MEN, TAKES PAIN
Henna are for gays lol (no offence, I love the 3rd sex)

So off we go, we met at SM Sanlazaro, the most convenient place for us both, it'll take like 15 min as I call it isang kembot to reach it.

Boarding LRT1 and LRT2, It has been years since I ride the line2 train, didn't even know how to buy tickets, funny thing is Tere has no clue too.. It just all came to me when I saw long line of peeps, standing in front of the machine with a poster glued in it saying "COINS ONLY"
Now I remembered. Shoot!, I peeked at my wallet and all I got are the "Bayanis" that's how I call my money. Meaning Wala akong barya!. Tere took out two five peso coins. I think I took out eight. So we went to the nearest stall "Master Siomai"  and ordered 2. Manong gave me two twenty peso bill, what the hell, we needed the exact amount for the train. I almost got pissed off with kuya as I asked him "wala bang barya?" he turned to his drawer and let me see that all he got are few coins, damn!

I've had so much drama in my like so and the vendor should be thankful that he didn't trigger the alarm. My alarm.

Off to Katipinan, touch down Marikina

Dan modified my design, I understand, he's an artist and they don't copy designs.. I''m just hoping wala akong kapareha  haha or else... cover up would me gastos and sakit ng katawan combined.

So ayun..

sa unahang litrato "The calm before the storm"
sa pangalawang kwadrado " The Storm"

may pinaghugutan tsk tsk

Phoenixation-Big, Bold and Beautiful

Below are random photos I posted days back after having my tattoo done. I'm so lazy making a blog abut it, good thing TereB did hers, that would mean I don't have to exert much effort making this blog look and feel good.

Pardon me for not making the photos appear in sequence, just bear with it

Needles: 5,7,15.
Since this was my first tat, I have no effing idea bout needle count, but what I know and felt is true, the higher the count, the more pain it'll give.
